when you are feeling angry or frustrated or bogged down with life - there is absolutely nothing better than a good 'ol game of american football with a bunch of girls in the mud and rain. honestly so much fun! we all put on our trusty rubbers and headed to the field for a whole lot of tackling! i have to say though, that alisha is incredibly strong and there were points when i was afraid of her! lee (laura's host) showed up to watch and snap a few photos (she is such an awesome lady). im starting to realize that my time in england is flying by and yeah i probably should have been at home reading shakespeare, but these are memories that will last forever. and let me tell you, we had such an amazing time! it was so much fun - despite a few pulled muscles, bruises, and ripped pants :) after football, we went to the playground and were able to become kids again. so i just thought i would post a few pictures from our evening because they make me smile and i hope they will make you smile too! what a blast!
sorry for constantly drawing attention to you jodi...but her look of horror is incredible! apparently she was afraid of falling and breaking some bones...
hehe - laura honestly looks like she is five in the picture above..aww so cute!
the spider!
just a note for future references - rubber boots and slippery bridges are not a good combination. again, jodi was frightened beyond belief!alisha is one of the coolest people ever - before we left to warm up with a cup of tea, she dove and slid head first into a mud puddle! she is so much fun!
and so this is what we do when we cannot handle another word from shakespeare! which, unfortunately i have put off for too long and must read...
